Dior - Shanghai

Christian Dior - Shanghai 2011
I like to think of this collection as the 'BARBIE'
collection; with the ballet flats, opened-toes pumps,
stilletto sandles and leather skirts, and espescially the
hour-glass sillouhete.I can see all types of women wearing
everything in this collection, you can go from going on a
shopping spree in l'Avenue des Champs-Élysées to going
to the Ballet or to the Opera or to a Maskquerade ball.

Models:  Karlie Kloss. Vlada Roslyakova.  Magdalena Frackowiak. Viviane Orth. Olga Sherer. Keke Lindgard. Georgina Stojilkovic. & Alexandra Tretter.

Christian Dior Haute Couture 2010

Christian Dior Haute Couture
automne/hiver 2010
Designer: John Galliano  (1996 – 2011)
Models: Karlie Kloss, Anna Selezneva, Magdalena Frackowiak, Kim Noorda,

Frida Gustavsson, Vlada Roslyakova and others.

Who knew that you could be a  garden flower in the middle of winter. As the show was  held in a hall of Museée Rodin, John Galliano showed everyone his beautiful garden filled with Tulips,  Daises, Roses, & Lilies! Everything about the colletion  was very fragile, in the colour pallete and in the techniques of the construction of the garments. It was just very magnifiencet and simply perfect in how he made everything from the ruffles, to the embelishments, and the feathering ! It was as if the flowers just came to life.

A lot of people were looking forward to what M.
Raf Simons was/is going to do for the Fashion House of Dior. M.Simons had a lot of pressure on his mind with the New Collection for Christian Dior. A lot of people are going to attend the show such as designer Alber Elbaz, Couture Buyers, the Press and some celebrities. Everyone was wondering if he could live up the expectations of La Maison du Dior with the theatrical clothes and staging from which M.John Galliano made famous for. Most would say no that it wasn't 'COUTURE' enough but others say it was like an homage to the founder of the Fashion House: M.Christian Dior
