One of Alexander McQueen's best work was the Automne/Hiver Prêt-à-Porter 2008 collection called: The Girl Who Lived in the Tree. This collection was based on the British Empire, the Victorian age and others such as Queen Elizabeth the 1st. The Collection was saturated with rich, Luxurious fabrics; almost as if it were an Haute Couture show and in my opinion that is what filled the show with such Elegance and Beauty.
